IID says 'No Faults'
I am still trying to chase down this infuriating warning lights problem. I had it again to day (HDC,EDB, etc etc but when I scanned with IID it said there were no faults.
I have tried this a few times an each tie it says there are no faults. Any ideas why?
thanks

looks like you covered all avenues
have you been checking the cars wiring harness for brakes in cables which would also cause gremilins from hell
good luck

Battery is two months old. No breaks on cables and it has run perfectly for a couple of weeks until today when all hell broke loose; The difference now is the IID tool detects no faults even though ALL the warning lights are on and this is the thing I can't fathom. My BMS ran teh battery son to 79% as expected and then up to 83% two days ago and after an overnight in the garage it was 92% and then 80% today.

remember batteries work on state of charge as well as state of capacity
state of charge might be showing 100% on various tools even on faulty battery which capacity is degraded due to damage
also remember there is miles of wires in Discovery I would defo check all exposed places very well even for barely visible brakes as wires can brake inside the shielding
good luck

It could be that the lld is not connecting to all the ecu's in the car, try contacting Patrick at Gap and see if he has any ideasAndrew

I'd start with a hard reset ... open bonnet, wait a good 10 mins, then disconnect +ve battery lead and short it to the -ve one. (You may need to disconnect -ve lead to achieve this)
If problems persist, I'd be wondering about
1. earth leads to engine/body
2. instrument cluster dry joints.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I did a hard reset some weeks ago and it seemed to be better temporarily but since I have a garage appointment on Monday I am going to leave it as it is so they can see there are problems. My battery said 80% charge this morning and the alternator was pumping out 105 amps but I still get the christmas lights.

When the toll tries to clear faults it often says 'update failed' for some ECUs and then goes to the next. Mean anything to you?

Pat tells me that one or more ECUs refuses the command so do a hard reset and try again
