iid question: Up but No down? switch? or iid logic reading?

Hi all

My suspension repair epic continues....

My iid shows the suspension Up/Down switch as not working in the 'down movement'. Ie it does not toggle in short or long push. The indication lamp does not work either.

It works in Up, however then throws up a suspension fault. (Left rear general electrical fault. The valve was working yesterday when I did the valve test Big Cry )

So my question is... before I strip down my interior and yank out the switch... is the switch probably ok and the iid is just not detecting a voltage 1 or 0 further down the line so to speak Idea

Switches have been known to be a problem.

Contacts need cleaning.
