Can you confirm if the VAT will be recoverable (by those of us who are registered for VAT) if a group buy goes ahead?

Cheapest LRDirect will do is £324.50 + VAT as per their website price. They offered no discount at all
Island 4x4 have come back with £325 + VAT
Neither are willing to do a better price than that, which is a little disappointing  My D3 Build Thread

Their sale figures must be good considering they aren't willing to give any discount at all on a groups buy of potentially 20 units

I guess it's all down to the profit margin at the end of the day. If it gets up close to 'The Magic' 30 mark (Is that the magic number?) I might add my name. I've resisted up to now as my Pooter skills are quite easily matched by your average 5 year old, but as these things have become more popular maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks  Discovery 4 HSE

You would have thought for an order of almost 30 units they could have offered a 10-15% discount 
Yes profit margin plays but if you can sell 30 units in one go you should reduce your margin slightly and go for higher turnover giving a higher total profit in the end!
