Fuel burning heater
Hi there I am new to this site along with new to modern Land rovers I did use to have a mark II a but that was years ago and had less than 10% of the electronics. I now have a discovery mark 4 which has a fuel burning heater fitted but as far as I can tell it does not work or I have not found any way of turning it on I did hear that it has it's own remote control but I only have the standard 4 button one that unlocks the doors is there any way for me to try running it or do I have to get a remote for it at the moment I do not have a scan tool but do have one on order which should arrive this week sometime I went for the I car soft LR2 which I saw on some other sites as the one to get for the home user, any advice would be gratefully received.
You have got timed climate on your car, but its probably not been enabled, do a search on the board for Timed Climate and all will be revealed.
Your FBH should work automatically when the temp drops below 6" does it work at all?.

I am not sure if it works as I cannot find any way of turning it on I have looked in the manual and all of the information that is shown on the screen, my LandRover is the bottom spec and has the small display, if you know how to turn it on I will give it a try.
Poppy Ann You need to get a GSM remote fitted, with you having the small screen. You will then be able to text the car in the morning and get it warm before you get in it.
