I would say you should be running the latest firmware which I think is B2481, but you will see that when you download the updater. I have heard there might be some issues but it runs perfectly for me.
For most diagnostic tests I tick "confirmed" and "pending" faults to keep it simple. You can add or subtract from this as and when needed depending on what you are doing. TBH I rarely need to go beyond that setting.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Had another reply from Pat, check fuses, power, ground and CAN wires. I’m an electrician but not an auto electrician.
There’s one fuse right? How can I check for power if I have no way of telling the FBH to fire up, surely I should only have power then? The things bolted to the shell so I’m sure I’ve got a good ground/earth, CAN wires??? Trace every wire from the FBH back to its origin?

Test the can wires by removing the plug from the fbh and a multimeter set to dc volts, probe into one pin other probe to earth expect to see 1.5 ro 2.5 ish volts do the same with the other pin.
You can also check the resistance over the two pins, 60 ohms I think.
This will give you an idea whats going on.

Actually I think each item on the can circuit has a 60ohm resisitor built in and depending on how many items on the circuit gives you the total ohms, but a search on here should confirm/deny

Looking at the wiring Diagram, am I correct in thinking that the purple wire leaving fuse 28 is the supply to the FBH and goes directly from fuse 28 to the FBH? I have supply leaving the fuse but not arriving at the plug on the FBH. I’ve nicked the wire so I could rule out a dodgy end in the plug.

Well done, seek and you shalt find It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
