Idle speed

Anyone got any tricks for raising the idle speed on an sdv6?

Why would you want to raise it?

Cant be done its set in the PCM Ecu. If your idle speed is fluctuating test your oil temp switch.

It's at 700rpm and this causes a slight vibration on the exhaust heat deflectors, when I set with the accelerator to 780-800 which I believe is the correct speed the vibration goes away. It's been like this since I've had the car 18,000 miles ago.

There's obviously a minor problem somewhere but it would be nice to have a little adjustment for such a simple thing.

How would that cause the low Idle? What should I test for?
