Idea for sticky
To make the Dealer feedback section more useful how about adding 2 threads stickied, the $h1tlist and the Goodguys. Dealers who have been named and shamed or where good service has been given can then be added to them.
Would make it much easier for all the users to see at a glance who is who.
Maybe make them so mods only can add or remove from the list.

Good idea but how would you do that fairly? Start a poll for each dealer allowing just one vote per poll per Disco3 member? Rank them 1-5 (good to bad)? It would be really handy info but potentially loads of new threads/polls to cover all the dealers that Member use. You could then invite the individual dealers to place a little banner ad at the top of their threads to generate a few extra pennies.

IMO it would not be productive for disco3.co.uk if site admin were to participate in the categorisation of dealerships as good or bad.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have to agree with DG
Most of the benefit of sections like the dealership section on here is in the level of detail you can read from users real experiences, to be able to click in a poll and expect that to be meaningful on a subject like this would be open to abuse.
for example: there are 2 local dealerships, more members use one than the other!
A poll might show a 75 / 25 split in where people place their custom!
The extended detail that the current way of doing this allows, gives information on why they prefer one over the other !
Surely that is the bit that is of interest and relevant to making an informed choice I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I agree with SJR & DG - if it works (which it does) don't fix it.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Perhaps the issue then is only having one go, perhaps each time a dealer is visited either for a service or problem we can score on a number of areas...... actually not too different from the feedback questionaires I get from the dealer. High level stuff like Was the work carried out correctly etc !!
