I'd just like to say... I LOVE my D3

At last sunny ( or mostly damp ) North Wiltshire FINALLY got snow last night.... so sorry if this thread is belated for most!

Effortless drive to the kiddy nursery... watched (and to be honest sniggered slightly) as a BMW M6 pulled out of his driveway, turn left up the hill and proceed to slide BACKWARDS with zero grip, past his driveway again... ending up 20m the wrong way down the street before getting out and walking home.. Mr. Green Mr. Green ... then I pulled out and drove past him without a hitch... (I'm easily entertained, and it makes up for the time he humiliated my Subaru STI in the summer Bow down )

I even managed to get into snow mode.... for the farm lane home.... all round great morning...

Bring on the 2nd wave this pm whoo hoo...

OK I can start acting like a man again...

Edited to add: The Grabbers performed fantastically... 10/10

my passengers were suprised last night when we drove up a hilly type road covered in ice with no problem, that snow/ice setting on the terrain response is brilliant

Unfortunatly the D3's SWMBO's, and have not managed to pursuade her to let me "offroad" it as yet.

Bring on the New Year and a set of 18" & MTR's then I'll be ready!

Cheers for the invite though Thumbs Up

My mrs loves our d3 aswell, she used to hate the d2 we had before,it's the first thing she says when she gets in and keeps asking when we can put it into snow mode, but won't let me go offroad yet though

Well I finally tried out the HDC this morning.... and was pleased with the ease of use...and it did the job well... wasn't on ice, just compacted snow... but kept the D3 straight and true... with the odd feather of throttle every now and then to keep up the forward momentum.

I've also noticed she wriggles like a pornstar if you nail it in a straight line on loose snow Mr. Green Mr. Green
