I could repair my broken D3 myself - I actually possess the knowledge to do so with this complex fault. But Its still under warranty so I will leave to a professional I think. The glove box bit of the procedure can be quite tricky.

Quite right...you pay for the warranty in the price of the vehicle, so kudos to you for having the balls to enforce your rights
Personally I blame the colour. Everyone knows Stornoways are unreliable

Too flipping right mate.
If I have to LRCS will be contacted of course.
And if the EGR valves drop off due to the fog not being visible anymore, I shall get even more crosser than I am now

It was probably the EGR that caused the fuse to blow Si, that in itself a sign that the CJB and SIC are running to hot leading to a TWOT DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

So if I replace the SOD OFF Valve, will that cure the short circuit in EGR matrix ?

Glad mine was working on the way back from London ... it's really foggy outside now.
BTW ... Simon ... I ended up parking in Masterpark in Chinatown which takes vehicles up to 6"6' and is about 10 min walk from Adelphi. TDV6 SE

I went through deep water in mine today while the FBH was running and the fumes came into the cab. A mondeo wouldn't have done that I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
