Just got I phone 5 ..
Can you get a lead yet to connect to the D4 for song playlist or can playlist be accessed via the Wi-Fi?

I use the standard LR iPhone cable inside the centre console with a 30pin to lightening adaptor on the end. Charges the iPhone 5 and provides control and playlist onto the LR screen. Can't get playlists over Wi-Fi on mine (2011).

Ahhh the cable in mine is a coiled cable I didn't realise it was a standard usb at the other end under the console..

It's only the standard USB cable from 2012MY IIRC, before that is a proprietary cable. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Yes, the apple lead I listed above goes on the end of the coiled cable, which is LR's own on 2009MY
