Do you think the touchscreen interface is as good as it could be?
Can't stand it.

I have interface ideas. Think LR would want to hear them?
Anybody know any Land Rover engineers? I have ideas for an improved Navi and touchscreen interface (I design these sort of things for a living). Not just fancy graphics, but you know, usability things too.
So...who can I talk to? 2013 LR4 HSE lux | Santorini Black | 5.0 V8

Really like the stuff in the other thread - but LR is all about function over form, IMO. That's why its so 'basic'

Couldn't hurt to look a bit more 'flash' though
thanks! of course, the pics in that other thread were from another product I worked on. Not sure I could stomach seeing such high gloss graphics on the navi screen in my perfectly minimalist LR3! I just have some ideas on some usability features (well, and maybe some new graphics )2013 LR4 HSE lux | Santorini Black | 5.0 V8

Well, it's certainly not the best interface ever.
It works after a fashion, but it could be much better, and also better screened from direct sunlight.
FFRR Vogue has a better interface, so LR and their suppliers have the imagination and know-how.
Next time they program the stanav, I'd be chuffed if they used a woman who knows how to read a map.

If you want to have a go at LR, find the manager not the engineer - they don´t develop themselves I guess.
