If this is a hybrid with the 3.0-litre straight-six turbo petrol engine & the rear end is improved I could be interested.

Good news on the hybrid, might steer me even further towards the D5 against the Duffer when it comes to replacement. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The Disco Sport got a really good review in the Telegraph today particularly the mild hybrid engines; they also point out that JLR is higher up the JD Power rankings than Audi or BMW. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Having driven the Range Rover Sport hybrid last year, I was impressed. It had the 4-cylinder petrol engine which cut in and out very smoothly, and was pretty economical given the mass of the car. We towed a 2000kg caravan with it too, and it performed very well. However, economy took a real thump when towing as you’d imagine.

It might help to boost the disappointing (when compared to the D4) sales figures for the D5.
P400e owners on the FFRR forum seem to be a happy bunch. I'd imagine performance and mileage would be similar. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
