Blackberry OS6 Bluetooth

Hi I have a minor frustration, since upgrading my BB Bold 9700 to OS6 it disconnects from the car after connecting - worked perfectly prior to the upgrade. When searching for the device it picks up the LR, then type in code 2121, it then asks if it can connect - you say yes, and then after a second or so it says connection failed?Any thoughts will be appreciated

Seems the problem is with BB OS6 as the bluetooth works perfectly with a BB Curve running OS5? I also spent some time at Baben's place to make sure I got the latest Bluetooth software which I have. Also tried an Iphone -again works perfectly. So if any one using BB OS6 on a Bold 9700 has any joy - please let me know?

I have been having exactly the same issue. I think I have got it working again, but it still sometimes fails to connect. I deleted the LANDROVER blue tooth item in the BB, then unlocked the car, it asked for the pin, I entered 2121 and it seemed to work after that. However, it has failed to connect a couple of time since.

The thing is, my BB Bold using V6 still connect perfectly to my wife's Boxster, and also to my blue tooth headset. Other phones still connect to the D3 OK Confused

Hi, thanks - could you possibly explain step by step what you did as it is a bit unclear, how and when you went from deleting the LR on the BB, up to paring and hopefully working again...

Mine too...

doesnt matter which phone I have used...Blackbery, Nokia, Sony Ericson or now HTC...despite doing the paring by the letter "sometimes it does & sometimes it doesnt" - absolutely no logic to it.
Just cant be the phone as the HTC hits a Parrot on my work car flawlessly....
Parrots are good & simple to use...two buttons & a knob...very logical...if only inbuilt bluetooth systems worked as well.
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Seems the issue is limited to the BB 9700 Bold OS6 as the BB9780 with OS6 works perfectly as does the BB Curve with OS5 also works perfectly - any help would be appreciated with this and if anyone knows what OS6 upgrade version to use to solve this very annoying problem. Big Cry

I'm still trying to work this out. There is a brand new FL2 sat in my drive right now, which works perfectly with my Bold 9700 with os6. When I go back to the dealers this afternoon, we are going to try it on one of their stock D3's.

I sense a new phone coming my way, I don't think we will get to the bottom of it.

Anyone tried a 9300 Curve with OS6?

Have just got a new 9300 but it has os5 which works perfectly with my upgraded BT module. Don't want to upgrade to 6 if it mess up!
