Hovis is just turned one year old.
Couldn't get a new one back in April for love not money, so bought one that was 4months old- ex LR.

Lisa is a loyal LR customer who was given a Corsa as a courtesy car so decided to use it to do the same jobs are her Defender.

Caused a bit of a stir and eventually the orginal supplying dealer ended up shipping a Defender up to her

Hovis has returned. Many thanks to TVLR, LRA and the people who organised me the D4 HSE hire car (which was lovely... even though it did nearly get totally written off when the hay shed roof came off and sailed clean over the top of it!)
Ah... I do do remember hearing about Lisa Berry! Good on her!!
Glad to have Hovis back... Need to get all the stuff from the storm cleared up now.
What a weekend of terrible destruction and weather we have had.

mmmmmm had hoped the autowipers would work now that the car is operating with correct voltages- nope... nothing- maybe at first they will sweep once but in the heavy rain this morning they didnt work at all.
Oh well, back to TVLR... he needs a service so will get this done too.

Hovis hauled away after an extremely valiant effort from Nick of LRA... who spent two hours trying to rectify the problem- wheels off, head lights out, grille off.. all in sub-zero temperatures.
At this point I am going to STOP... When we realised something was wrong with the car that couldn't be fixed at the side of the road. All I can say is that there is one hell of a complaint being dealt with right now. However, Land Rover and all Land Rover employees on Friday night were exemplary.
Watch this space and when things are resolved I will report back.
I'm not calm enough to write any more.
