I know how to reset the cars ECU without taking the car to the dealers. I am only telling the guys at Rockingham first, so we can experiment. I think I have some other little goodies also, but need to check them out first.
The car reset is a real belter
How do I know, because I had a b****y suspension failure today, hence my absence for a while. I am not a happy chappy.
Why did my failure ocurr? I think it was because I parked with the back close a grass bank and when the car settled, it held the car up by the tow bar. The prelude to this was that the reversing bleepers did not go off until I switched off the ignition when I parked.
When I started up, the rear was held up and the front rose, albeit very minimally and because it was uneven, I think it upset the computer as I drove off. This was even after waiting for the boings etc.
I called a friend as you do, who is not a dealer mechanic but who has his own Landy garage and he told me to let you know later
So I did it and it sorted everything out. It is crazy.

Nick it is actually not far off that, it is really stupid, but it works. I cannot publish it, because it does work and I don't want everyone at this point trying it out because it does not solve all sadly. There are a few more tricks we are going to show you on Sunday. Think you'll love it.

Until we try it properly, it is not good to pass on the info. Hopefully we will have other tips by Monday.

PM Simon as I think he fully understood the reset. I am trying to get find a way of putting into easy understanding. However we have decided not to publish it for certain reasons not to be discussed on line.
