Horn Connections

Hi there,
I've just bought 2 x Stebel Magnum horns as an upgrade as my original LR items are pretty weak!

Can anyone advise if there are connectors available to let me plug the new horns into the existing Disco wiring as I'd like to keep things original ?

Many Thanks,

PMG.

I bought some male & female std crimp-on connectors off ebay to fit these (with the relay that comes with them..... which I'm not convinced is essential, but stuck it in any way.

I put these in place of the horn in front of the rad (low tone?) and just left the other one (behind the rad - high tone?) in place since I'd added the switched supply to the stebel's anyway..... so effectively we have a tri-tone horn.

I was going to replace the two horns, the thinking was that the original supplies would be suitable, you may need the relay if you're feeding two horns from one wire?
I wanted to plug the original supplies straight onto the new horns, hopefully removing the need for the relay and without messing with the original wiring.

In that case - I think you just need a couple of female spade connectors to crimp onto the existing wires (once you've lobbed off the existing plug) - these will then plug onto the male spades on the magnums - Robert is your mothers brother..... as they say.

PS - they sound like THIS once done. I can't find the "before" file (not sure if I ever loaded that onto uchoob?) but they are a nicer tone and noticably louder. 8)
