I think you need the holes to bolt intoSill protection - LED internal lights - LED reverse lights - boot liner - Dog Guard - Rock sliders

ISTR someone in Luxembourg tried to fit one to a 5 seater, only to find the holes needed to receive the screws for the grab handles weren’t there under the headlining.
