High level brake light
Hi,
I have read some of the other threads about replacing the high level brake light
and note that others have had it replaced by a windscreen fitter.
Does anyone know of windscreen fitting near Northampton that will replace the unit
as the ones I have called won't do it
Cheers
Steve

Might be worth giving Richards Land Rover a call, if they can't do it they might know someone who can.

My high level brake light was damaged on delivery of my car brand new..... FFS!
It had to go back to LR who could not deal with it (tried and made it much worse) - had to go to a proper LR approved body shop on the back of a trailer..... many miles away (I'm in Cornwall).....
Came back with a new brake light fitted and the the old one in shattered pieces in a box in the back.
A far from easy job from what I was told.... as I can imagine! Just one of the many body/paint faults that should not have happened under proper QC...! which LR have been dreadful at.
Cant' believe I'm giving them another chance with a Discovery Sport PHEV 300e (maybe delivered sometime in June/July) ..... not holding my breath - as you can imagine!!2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

30 mins? I doubt it
It will undoubtedly need removing in pieces as they often need destroying to remove.
The new one also has to be bonded correctly to the bodywork to get a watertight seal otherwise you'll get water running down the back window and into the boot.MY16 Landmark - Yulong White

I’d be worried about a 30 minute slot, take a look at how “easy” they are to remove
