hidden interior light

Anybody else notice the little interior light behind the main forward interior unit.
It comes on when side/head lights are on.
Don't really know what it does, as beam isn't strong enough?
My only reckoning is that it's for 'interior enhancement'
[Though when covered over, don't really notice any difference????]
Any other ideas??

yer, it's the 'waterfall lighting', illuminates the area around the gearchange / TR, how effective it is depends upon the backlight dimmer setting
nice touch IMO

Read the Surprise and Delight thread

and all will be revealed.

It is an ambient light that sensuously illuminates the central console around the gear shift and cup holders.

Fiddling around the gear lever can cause untold consequences! The light is up near the rear view mirror.

Tell me about it. Get a load of this!

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
