Hi, a couple of questions

Hi

I have had my Disco3 about 3 months now and have a couple of questions.

1 Are the heater elements in the rear side windows meant to come on when the rear screen heater is switched on or do the third row of seats have to be in use.

2 The aux input does not seem to be working, just getting electronic noise when plugging in an ipod or walkman. Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers in advance.

The "heater elements" in the rear side windows are actually the Diversity Radio and TV Antennas........................... they don't get warm, ever!

Make sure you have the volume turned up on the Ipod.

Sorry if my thoughts on the iPod aux connection are too obvious and I am sure you are ahead of me:

1. Make sure it is the correct lead - 3.5mm stereo jack to jack from the headphone socket of the iPod

2. I've found that the output level needs to be nearly full volume on the iPod and then needs to be up in the 30 range on the car stereo. Then need to be careful not to blow the speakers when changing back to FM!!
Anyway, good luck and hope these thoughts aren't too "teaching to suck eggs"!

Thumbs Up
