Heritage Colour schemes
We all know that a 'Proper Land Rover should have a White roof, Right?
And we've all seen the recent spate of Silver roofs that LR have applied to Full Fat Range Rovers, Range Rover Sports and Evoques in an attempt at I assume a Heritage Colour scheme.
Well I think it would look better on a vehicle that is far more akin to the original Defender shape.
(I wish my Photoshop skills were better)
Or more likely with the top of the rear windows added.
Perhaps when I'm not so precious about my 'new to me' D4 I'll ask our local Wrapping company for a price to wrap the roof in Silver.

I think the D4 looks terrible with a silver / white roof. But that’s just my opinion.
They look much better with a roof rack on. Same with a defender

No, don't think that works, the style of the roof doesn't allow it.
However, if one wanted a coloured roof, white, silver, black etc, then it's best ran from the top of the windscreen up and over, between the roof rails to the rear (also incorporating the upper tailgate).
Had already thought in doing my Corris (with black pack), with such a roof in black.🏴

Personally I think that looks wrong, but I’m all in favour of people modifying their vehicles to look how they want them to.
Although I can’t help feeling sad when I see an original plastic bumper/arch D3 made to look like a newer version.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Defender is the only car in the range that should have a white roof!
RR/RRS/Velar/Evoque have them because it’s the “fashion”
Once you’ve sobered up have another think about it 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Defenders have white roofs for one reason only and that is to stop the sweat box effect in the summer, which by the way does not work!

I suppose a D4 two tone colour combo isn’t the worst thing out there.
I do apologise for what you are about to witness.....

That is truly shocking
I cannot understand how anyone on the planet would think that RRS looks good.
Maybe it's the Range Rover 'Velour'....Kev

If you like it, go for it. If you get it wrapped it won’t cost much and if you decide it’s not for you, just peel it off. 👍2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
