Help wanted to spend some cash

Apparently I’ve now been with the same company for 30 years this month and to commemorate I get a pre paid credit card with £500 loaded.

Now... SWMBO has given me permission to spend it on the car, but with no faults currently showing their face I’m looking for something to spend it on that doesn’t involve garage bills for once Whistle

I’m in the middle of cleaning it up, new badges coming tomorrow will be treating the lights to a de tango on Friday, it’s had new wheels and a full service already this year so I need some help....

What mods can I add for £500??!! Only rules are, I have to be able to pay using the prepay so no amazon or eBay purchase Embarassed

Rather than bolt something on, how about getting a firm to de-rust and protect the underside? Provided they will take a card payment Whistle

Just a thought Thumbs Up

Why can’t you use the prepay on Amazon or EBay? Surely it’s just like any other bit of plastic, works up to the limit? Confused Confused

Why did you tell SWMBO? Smile

How about a “smooth” steering wheel if that’s not be added already? Makes a huge difference.

To not tell MrsKD3 would be well dangerous. Replace Terminator with SWMBO and dead with “found out”.

Had to tel SWMBO as she’d get real suspicious when a number of large heavy expensive looking boxes started getting delivered (I miss when she went to the office every day).

Under body protection is a good call but feeling too sensible right now, want to have fun Smile maybe a set of these https://gr1performance.com/product/spyder-...hts-black/

not my taste either but deffo not current Jeep Censored ... looks like they forgot to include lights in the design and stuck some strange boxed lights on the back.

If I were able to spend right now I’d look at possibly body colour on the plastic parts, or wheel spacers and painting or refurbishing the wheels...?

Some may go for tints but I went with blinds as with two small children the ability to remove them for better views is great when it’s not sunny.

When you de-tango, are you doing the powerfuluk kit with the black tape? I did but did not put the tick part in. I have it still but am still undecided whether I need it or not.

I’ve already replaced the front grill and will de tango the lights tomorrow, have perma-blacked the plastics (bumpers etc) and the Windows came tinted. Tempted on a good expedition rack Stevpd, reversing camera already in, along with tpms.
