2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Bonatti GreyDiscovery 3
Help - stereo unit

I have just bought a discovery 3, 2005 model and I love it.
I’m having problems tho...
The stereo unit only responds when it feels like it, basically the buttons intermittently work and I’ve got no steering controls at all.
Also the heated seats don’t work lol
Can anyone offer any advice?

Steering wheel controls could be the clock spring or the connection or the electrics in the wheel, does the Horn and cruise control work OK - if so it could be just the switch module for the audio in the steering wheel or the Head unit for the hifi is the cause. Also worth trying a hard reset to see if it resolves anything.

Is it all heated seats don't work or just the drivers seat? Are the back heated seats working?? Must stop buying shiny toys....
