Help Please - Retro Fit Front Fogs, Front PDC and Washers

Just got myself a fully spec'd front bumper with all of the above.

Fitting to a MY07 GS. So I obviously need a new light switch and loom for the fogs. What else do I have to do, to get the washers and PDC to work - If indeed I can ??

TFC where are you Very Happy

Do a search for front+pdc and scroll through. You will come to a 2 page post where TFC (ten for Cash) lists the part numbers you need. Front loom for Fogs and PDC + you will then need somebody (TFC?) to enable the option with an autologic set-up.

Looks like with a new lightswitch and loom you / we will be able to the fogs working. Washers require some work and a pump in the waterbottle.

All in all not too much work for a lot of options. Are you picking yours up from Oxford ?

TFC will probably give you the best help. I will ask my brother too, if I can find him - working for LR somewhere in Middle East or Borneo at the Mo - Big Cry

hey guys

if you have the bumper fitted with fogs then a compatible wiringloom (£20) and a new internal light swith (£20) are also required...

i've supplied these fog kits too members who have fitted and not needed them aactivated...but if on connection they won't work you will need either TFC or dealer activation.

I now have front PDC retro-fitted to my euro-spec SE (thanks Nick!! Thumbs Up )

As stated earlier....you NEED to have the rear PDC fitted for it to be a straightforward installation. If not, then it gets very complicated...

Assuming that you have rear PDC and the connectors and wiring in place for them both then it's easy.

Just buy the loom (Wiring Assy) from Nick that is valid for Front Fogs + Front PDC (# YMQ501631). Then connect everything up.

You WILL need dealer activation for the Front PDC sensors, but the fogs do not need it....obviously you need to install all the relevant bits (new switch, wiring loom as above etc, but they will work 'out of the box'.

I'm just waiting to get the PDC activated now and I'll let you know if it works.

Cheers,
Paul

Washer Connections

Take a look at this thread for details on how I retrofitted headlamp washers:

LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Thanks - I am speaking to my tame land rover technician on Friday morning to see if they can do this the "easy" way. If not then it's TFC for some wiring as electrickery is not my thing !!
