Help with paint overspray

I have today re sprayed the rear wing of my wife’s D3 and somehow managed to get a significant amount of Silver spray paint on the black plastic wheel arch. I have tried removing it with warm water and soap and WD40 But neither have had much effect.
Does anyone have a good way to remove the paint .
Any help would be appreciated before SWMBO sees it !
Thanks
Steve

Standard thinners (celulose thinners) will take it off, just do a small test patch under the bumper where it doesnt show just in case but i have used it many times on black plastic bumpers to get them ready for paint and have never had an issue.
But dont go near your plastic lights it will melt them.

Use all purpose cleaner and a Magic sponge. If you don’t have APC use very light solution of dish soap but just a drop or two per 10 liters of water

I was trying to clean spots of emulsion paint from a Disco wheel arch yesterday. In the end I used cellulose thinners which was quick and effective, but it also removed some coating and texture from the plastic. Not a disaster, but noticeable if you look closely.

Thinners will get it off but dries out the plastic as the same time. You could try slow drying panel wipe which is not as severe.

Builders wipes are pretty good at removing most things and don’t leave marks..
