Is the lug on the other end, if it’s for a D3 ? Looks like they’re both Mahle.

looks like D4 filter and it will fit just very tight

Thats the right filter they are just a tight fit over the centre tube.And it is a D4 oil filter.

its what is known as a German virgin filter, nice-n-tight It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
