Help! Is the landrover extended warranty any good?
Hello.
Just about to send my D3 back to marshalls for possible warranty work next week.
The problem is a burning smell from nearside wheel and squealing (possible epb?) and the steering wheel judders when I brake (maybe warped front discs?). When I brought the D3 2 months ago from marshall cambridge, It came with a landrover extended warranty. Would this cover the above problems? The vehicle is a 2005 model with 20,000 miles on it.

desseardo I had exactly the same symptoms driving through France last Oct, was a rear brake caliper partially seized on. Was covered by warranty but Tesco not LR.
Hopefully marshalls might be helpful. Normally the threat of my large routemaster adorned with a negative advert about the company, changes peoples minds!!
Thanks for the replies.

I refered to my extended LR warranty as ANDREX.
That's all it was good for!!All things shipping, storage, transport. UK and worldwide.
I've been quoted today on phone £760 for years 4 and 5 and £610 for years beyond 5 by LandRover for their "Approved Warranty".
Is this a good price or not? Need to know soon as 3 years is up on 27th March!!!

nope waste of money. Dealers will ignore it and attempt to charge you anyway.

Hmmmm... mine was superb. Very pleased I got it. Few problems sorted under warranty. Hassle free - didn't need to get involved. Easily saved me more than it cost. Guess a lot depends on the dealer you take it to.2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +
