one more problem.....trying to connect up the wiring on the newly installed light harness to the existing connection next to the drivers headlight, but to me there is no way the 2 parts are going to fit together...
Do i need to dissasemble the connection or anything or should it be a direct fit? (the blue stoppers have been removed)

Adam remove the blanking plug on the connector , the one under the headlight.Making this post on the move so can't go into much detail.
Edit : The piece that you have taken the little blue rubber stoppers out of has to come out completely.It's a blanking connector and is merely clipped in to keep the end of the loom that eventually runs to the light switch waterproof.
TBH I scratched my head for a few mins when I was doing mine .
