Hella 3000 spotlights - what are they like?

There seem to be a few out there on fleabay and I'm looking at getting 4 to hook up at some point in the future ........

Anyone got any views on them ? Are they better than LR ones (and I know the Lightforce is better but cant afford them!)

Thanks

if you put some decent bulbs in they're fine but there are different variants; flood/fog and pencil long distance beam I think, I had the FF's on my A-bar and they filled up with water each time I went off road or through the local ford Rolling Eyes (they were a bit more water-resistant after I siliconed them up though!), so I changed them for the LF 170's instead which are Thumbs Up no idea in relation to the LR ones though I'm afraid, although lots of them seem to fill up with water too...
 and theeeeennn......???

I had 3000 blue's on my D2 and they were fine - I uprated the wiring and put Philips 100w bulbs in. They were 8)

Hella FF 75's - they'll fit in the gap just above the number plate.
