Heater systems

Since purchasing my disco3 the webasto pre heating system has not functioned correctly. My local dealer could not find a solution. Could the webasto pre heater system as fitted to the rover 75s 2 litre diesel be adapted for the disco3? As this has both timer and remote control. I am spending winter in the alps and will need this to work efficiently so any ideas would be much appreciated!

Re: Heater systems

Welcome to the site. Sadly the answer is no. There is more about the pre heater than any other subject I think on site. I have spent 9 months working with Webasto and we now have a solution, but don't tamper with the unit it is more complex than it looks.

I have just spoken to the dealer and he informed me that landrover have no intention of fitting it on the disco3. It will be a very cold winter! Considering changing to a range rover!

Are you the garage in Offerton that sells lots of Land Rovers? Was it Guy Salmon that told you this?

Wrong it is in the 2009 build series as a fully working pre heater.
