just established
fuse F12 in the under bonnet fusebox is for the heated windscreen washer jets
mine is missing , so by that i assume it’s easy to check, on other models , if it’s fitted they will be fitted
also heated jet wire is yellow and brown

GS, did you see if there are 1 or 2 metal contacts at that F12 position (as Pete K suggested) ? I’ll have a look at mine when I get home (3,270 miles away at present).D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

i didn’t , however i remembered i took a pic of my fuse box to save me being out in the cold and can see my F12 fuse is missing
many thks, so ur not local then , it’s also getting an indication of where the wires go from the jets backwards , know they ultimately end up at the engines fuse box, it’s the route so i can then look in that area if that makes sense , thks again
