It's not a bad idea, just can't see it working that well unless on avsite with a hook up. Came across them whilst looking for some tent carpet/rug to stick in the tag a long for the kids. TBH I'm suprised that I can't find made to measure tent carpets anywhere on the net.

In theory it sounds a good idea to me. No one knocks caravans for having electrics, heaters, cookers etc. etc. so what's wrong with a bit of "luxury" in a tent? I do however agree that heating anything "outdoors" isn't great for the environment.

I thought that a heated steering wheel was a joke, until I tried one Whistle

We camp in a tent for 1-2 weeks at a time and have a mains powered kettle, mains fridge, mains 1KW heater, mains lighting with two way switching so you can switch it from front or side openings, Laptop with freeview aerial.

People moan that tenting is uncomfortable. Its as comfortable as you want to make it!

Now a fully heated floor would just about finish it off!
