And if they don't, how easy is it to fit 'em? 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)
2005 D3 S 10-12 (gone and missed)

I have a pair of front seat heater elements purchased off ebay, I keep thinking of getting round to fitting, however the thought of all of them metal clips slicing through my fingers keeps making me delay the idea! Must stop buying shiny toys....

Mine has heated seats. Assuming yours is base spec underneath there is a really large connector for the elements that comes out the bottom of the seat.
as for the base. I have replaced the bases on mine. I removed all the clips with a couple of pairs of long nose pliers then when came to replace just used a load of cable ties in their place. Made it a lot easier!
I acually think the pad also is on the backrest as well but can't be 100% sure. It just may feel like it as on position 2 they get bloody hot! Just right for today
