The top three strips in the heated rear screen on my 07 HSE no longer work. Is this a known problem and can it be fixed without replacing the whole screen? Any advice. Volvo XC60 - does all that the D4 should have done

Think you can buy conductive paint for repairing these, maybe someone has used it and can confirm?
[Edit] Did a quick google search - Halfords or Maplins might sell the paint and there's some handy advice at the bottom of this thread on how to apply it http://www.eham.net/forums/ModsAndRepairs/10191
It does say apply it when the screen is warm. With today's weather good luck!
