Heated front screen
Hi,
Just tried my heated front screen and I think the light in the switch has gone. Is it a easy thing to change? I checked the fuse and that was fine, also when you push the switch the engine sound changes so I'm guessing the system is still working and the light has just blown in the switch. It is still under warranty and might take it back in the new year, but if it's easy to change the blub I might do it. Has anyone tried this?
The button is built into the IHU so it'll have to be off to the dealer. Is the screen definitely working, not just a blown fuse? The End

Hi,

LEAVE THE SCREEN ON A BIT THEN USE THE WASHERS - SHOULD GET A TRACE OF STEAM OOPS - sorry for "shouting" - from each side if it's not windy...
Actually needed mine Friday night - -7'C near Buxton and the screenwash froze, on the move 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
Should be able to hear a relay click in when you switch the screen heater on? Thats normally a give away for the thing working.

Hi,
I had frost last night so I tested the screen this morning. It works , Just the light in the switch doesn't. I will get the dealer to do it.
