So when actor Keith Allen wanted to copy Cooper's accent for the film ...
"In fact he had a very odd way of speaking so I thought I’d go down there [Pembrokeshire] and check this out. So I did, with a view of sitting in various pubs, maybe a cafe, and listening to people talk. It was just full of Mancs, Scousers, people from Birmingham sitting in the pub watching Sky Sports!"
Part of me wonders if that's not just a gratuitous plug for a sponsor? .
