I have just noticed that the headlamp modules on my Discovery 4 seem loose. What I mean by this is that the outer side moves about 20-30mm in and out.
Any thoughts gratefully received.

My near side head lamp was the same, I noticed it about two days after I picked it up. Took it back and they fixed it, I don't know what the did but it doesn't move now.

Is it possible that one of the sliders has not located properly on the pins? Why not remove it and make sure its seated properly and that the sliders engage Worth a try

You were correct, when I returned the head lamps to the UK side of the road I noticed that the slider were indeed not in the correct position.
All sorted thank to you.
