Headlamp Help Needed

I have a 61 plate 2011 D4 Landmark LE. Does anyone know whether these are Halogen or Xenon headlamps. I have looked and I know it sounds really stupid but cant work it out!!.

I have had one fail this evening so need to replace ASAP.

Any one with give me any guidance or what to look for upon trying to take headlamp out for clues

There will be a part number on the lamp unit. And also when you remove the bulb you will see which type.

landmarks are Halogens, there are two single filament units in each headlamp, Easy to replace remove front grill by releasing tabs along the top and then a sharp tug Thumbs Up

Then there are 2 sliding tabs on each light that you pull up so the light can come out, unplug the loom on the back and then easy to access lamps, one under each of the big rubber bungs. I normally change both while it is out Thumbs Up MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White
