Headlamp fault just occurred.

Driving home this evening, in heavy rain. Was in traffic, indicated to turn, completed the turn and when the indicators cancelled, the AFS Headlamp warning light started flashing yellow.

Headlamps still worked, but self levelling dropped very low, and directional movement ceased. The cornering lamps still worked though.

Stopped and restarted and it cleared and went back to normal. Following fault logged and read with IID tool.

B1D65-87 (AC) Motor operation malfunction of right actuator - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

It’s a bit worrying because I had a problem the other day when the right hand main beam light came on by itself when I unlocked the car. Went out when locked, but was on when unlocked no matter what I did. This cleared itself after a short drive. It happened after I had washed the car.

Anyone got any idea where there might be some water causing these issues?

Sounds as though water could be getting on the CJB perhaps from the NSF sunroof drain or A- pillar trim maybe?
