Head set wiring

Hi
A newbe here.
have problems with radio and disc player as it seems every d3 has had some time or another.
The radio and sat nav worked fine just would not play the CD kept coming up as not recognised
I took mine out and found one of the ribbons was not connected tightly and sorted that out.so I hope it is ok.
As you can see in the pictures I found a rocker switch that was connected by a crudely double Luca connector it was spliced to the wires as indicated in the red outline.
I have reconnected the wires with solder and shrink tube as in the pictures.
I took out the sat nav as the connector to the radio is so short I found it almost impossible to join back to the radio, that's when I found the these three wires that have been pulled out of a connection and just left as they are behind the sat nav.
My question is does anyone now where they go and what are they are used for
The car runs well no warning light and no other issues I was wondering if it is anything to do with a telephone connection .
