HDC fault with spring conversion??? HELP!!!

Hi,
I have just converted my D3 to springs after finally giving up on the air system! Spent over £1500 on new parts for the air system, ie new compressor, height sensors, control module and all relays and fuses! Nothing else to replace but still didn’t work so went through the whole wiring loom and plugs! Still no joy. So, although I now have an entire new system to sell I opted to fitted the Dunlop spring conversion kit. Fitted all parts as stated, fitted over ride box supplied. Checked and light is now out. However. I now continue to have the warning message and annoying bong when driving. Also to add to this, I now have a HDC system fault warning and initially grinds on cornering until warning lights activate for the system fault.
Anyone have any ideas what I need to do to end my problems? I am slowly giving up! It took me 5 months of testing and replacing parts before the conversion happened! I really do hate this car now!

Have you had the codes read ? You may well have had an issue with something like the steering angle sensor on the lower column and not a problem with the air suspension. Mine would bong and call hdc fault, into access mode etc when it was the steering angle sensor.

yeah initially grinds on cornering I would check:

1) one wheel isn't hotter than the other side after a drive. (could be a stuck brake caliper)
2) ABS system activating. Yeah steering sensor maybe

Interesting you should say that because when I had the steering sensor fault the abs would kick in on some corners. That does sound like a grinding noise sometimes.
