HBA Sensitivity

I have noticed that my HBA has been not responding as quickly to oncoming traffic as quickly as I wanted. While in park and the ignition off the service menu on the TFT display shows an option for HBA Sensitivity. Does anyone know what the difference between normal and "alternate" mode means? The owners manual, and on owners infomation website says anything about this site... Anyone know what the different modes do?

Hi
As far as I can remember the alternate setting is for when you are driving on the other Shocked side of the road. The (UK) manual - p80- refers to changing the settings whenever you need to adjust the headlight dip side. Like you, I find the HBA dips too late - I prefer to dip my lights just before the other cars lighs are fully in view - so I just leave it off.
