I have done this mod Thumbs Up

put the mother in law in between the kids in the second row( the use of the mother law is important as she remembers being able to travel without a seat belt)
So when said anchors on is required follow this system it never fails,

1: give the warning "brace for impact"
2: check rear mirror to be sure the mother in laws head is now down
3:apply Brakes
3: mother in law is now deployed, and with her head, engages hazard lights
4:once vehicle comes to stop this also disengages the "mother in law moan" mode (you were driving to fast, and what you do that for) etc,

I have found this very affective and when she wakes up remind her to put her belt on,
Oh and she is unlikely Not to travel with you again (bonus)

is it possible you haven''t had to brake hard enough to trigger them??
I've had heavy braking and no hazards light however on one occasion when I was forced to brake (emergency stomp on brakes) my hazards did flash for a short period Shocked

Question Question
Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

I'm sure that I read on here some time ago that if you pull the handbrake lever and hold it, the car will do an emergency stop and the hazzards are activated.

Now where is that old thread...
