Options are replacement engine or sell it.
Looking at it, but don’t think I can financially go the engine route.

Have you tried Oval Autos on here to see what they suggest?
They seem to have dealings with damaged engines. No experience personally though.

When my 3.0 TDV6 went a few weeks back (suspect spun main bearing), I phoned Steve Norman and likewise, he was absolutely amazing at explaining the options to me. Awesome guy, and I'll definitely be using him in the future when the car is back on the road for any repairs that are out of my comfort zone.
Like robpenrose said, it could be worth a call to Joe at Oval Autos in Cradley Heath. Mine is booked in with them for a recon engine next month. Joe occasionally posts on here also.Kev
