Just had a look. With £250 Voluntary Excess there is an additional £150 Compulsory Excess so no as bad as I thought!
Voluntary Excess £0 then total excesses are £150, cost of policy is £286
Voluntary Excess £150 then total excesses are £300, cost of policy is £244
Voluntary Excess £250 then total excesses are £400, cost of policy is £234
Not bad at all then. Wonder why they want so much from me? Nothing in my profile would suggest that level of premium loading, but then I may not be in their target demographic for conquest business. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
