I am interested in your power source, the cigarette fuse. Exactly how did you tap into it? I ask because I have fitted a handsfree phone kit, and at the moment I have a plug spliced onto the power supply for the handsfree, and permanently plugged into the accesory socket which is untidy.

Easy, I pulled the fuse for the cigarette lighter and stuck the ‘red’ wire into one side of the then empty fuse slot. I then pushed the fuse back in.

tapping in to electrical circuits
There is a clever device called tapa-circuit available from gadgets and gizmos in the USA that gives a fused power take off from any fuseway. see wirthco.com too
