Happy Annaversary

Happy anniversary to me! Well, the car actually. I actually bought the 2010 XS Disco a year ago. So I treated it to a service, a new full fat LR year's extended warranty, an MOT and a year's road tax.

OUCH! Shocked Very Happy

Apart from the obvious on-going running costs, it's been reliability itself. Hopefully it'll continue.

Has the black boy got a wee soft toy in the back there?

Our old (now passed on lab) on the left here always liked a soft toy....

My old boy was the golden one. He sadly passed away only a week after this picture was taken. So he's enjoying his last tin tent adventure with us here. Bladder cancer. No symptoms until it's too late. Just short of 12 years old. Thankfully a short illness.

But they both liked their soft toys. What's more, although they would both demolish anything plastic, rubber or bone, soft fluffy toys are only for carrying around and greeting people with. They both have a second career as gun dogs though, although the old one was retired, so anything soft and feathery/fluffy was treated with the required soft mouth.
