Handbrake Stuck On

Hi there after a great weekend I have just jumped into my Disco3 and the handbrake is stuck on and will not release showing a 'PARKING BRAKE FAULT'. Is it possible to over ride this ??? This is doing my head in, can someone help ??? Censored

NIGHTMARE, just tried this and did not work, check now shows 'SYSTEMS FAULT SPECIAL PROGRAMES NOT AVAILABLE'.
