Hello everyone,
So a few months back one of my back brakes bound on, turned out to be the brakes shoes. Rough I know but I removed the shoes just so I could use the vehicle until I got the time to change the discs, pads and shoes. The following week the timing tensioner snapped so vehicle couldn't be used anyway. Repair the engine and now doing the work for its MOT. Changed the rear discs and shoes, set the shoes up by the book and went to test them. Pulled the handbrake switch and could hear the cables being pulled and then I could hear the gears skipping This wasn't an issue before and I'm wonder could I have done something wrong? I recheck my shoe set up and I've done it by the book. I recently bought myself a IID tool and it's coming up with the faults (see pictures) on one picture it says the the position is undefined, why would this be? And last question there's an option to calibrate the accelerometer do I need to calibrate it after installing new shoes?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Connor
