Finally arrived this afternoon.
Quick install, less than 20 minutes.
Works great, always powered so have to remember to switch it off, will probably install a relay soon.
Arrived without coin tray, probably a misunderstanding when ordering, made a temporary replacement(my temporary usually lasts for years )

Hello all,
So, it is too late? Group closed?
Is there a chance to have one?
Many thanks!

I am interested in a D4 fridge too if it's not too late.
Had one in my first D4 (2010) and it was great on long journeys through France. Now got a 2012 D4 that the dealer already had coming in but alas no fridge.
Any chance TLO?

Yes Geoff, I have left it running for 3 days solid (with a ctek keeping the battery topped up) and the fridge never turned off, the test beverage was freezing cold at the end though .

Interestingly while mine doesn't turn off with the car, it turns itself off when the voltage drops to a certain level (I think it was 11.8v). Still enough to run the car. So it seems that at least some fridges or some cars have a built in voltage sensor to stop it from killing the car

Right attempted to fit the fridge to my new D4 tonight but struggling to remove the vertical bit of plastic at the front of the cubby box.
Any tips please?
Should it pull up, pull forward?
Perhaps I'm being too cautious because I don't want to break anything after just 2 days

Give it a tug upwards from the centre console gear stick in park! then as you get towards the cuppy end a sharp up and out jolt will free but be careful as the terrain response cables arent that long,at least they weren't on mine!

Darrell
Are you referring to D3 or D4?
I can lever the lugs out from the top and move the top edge forward but then it doesn't want to budge. I've applied what I think is already alot of force both up and forward so I must be doing something wrong. Much more and I can't believe it won't break somewhere.
